Happy New Year everyone
It’s already New Year’s Eve here in Japan and I am really excited to be here for it. I’ll be the first country to ring in the new year!
2011 was a great year full of ups and downs just like any year is, but I am hoping that 2012 is even greater than 2011.

Made it to Japan!
Already loving being back. Flew into Tokyo, transfer flight to Osaka, and now I’m at my friend’s family house in Kyoto.

People that talk obnoxiously loud on the phone and try to brag and make sure that you can hear them can lay on the freeway and wait for a big rig. FYI, no one cares and you look like an ass.
Planes.
No matter how many times I fly I always get nervous about airplanes. I know the statistics show that one is more likely to get into a car accident than a plane crash, but I still worry nonstop because that is what I do best.

I’m trying to stuff in all my favorite foods and restaurants before I leave to Japan on Sunday. I need to make sure I have my fix of Mexican and other ethnic foods that only exist here before I go haha.
